Kilger Can’t Stand to Go, Fails to Report to Panthers
Kilger was suspended Wednesday for failing to report to the team after being acquired from the Leafs on deadline day. The suspension is indefinite and without pay.
I can sort of understand where Chad is coming from. You’re on the bottom feeding Leafs, deadline day comes around and you’re lucky enough to be moved. Your mind is racing with all the possibilities! Detroit maybe? Anaheim? Could this be your year.
Sorry Chad you’ll be heading to Florida! Send us a postcard.
I wouldn’t report either!

I must disagree..I’d be in Florida in a heart beat!!Sure the Panthers suck as much as the Leafs..BUT the weather is waaay warmer than T.O…so when you’re golfing in Apil its 30 degrees..not - 5!!!

Yeah, all kidding aside, I hope Kilger (and his family?) are ok. I don’t know him, of course, but that’s been a couple weeks now of personal time. But you’re right, maybe he just doesn’t like ‘gators or oranges or something.
