Contests - Win Prizes For Your Comments
Unfortunately the Photoshop contest did not receive nearly enough entries to be completed. We thank all those who did enter but we think the reason for the lack of activity was that it just asked for too much from our readers. We still want to give away that $40 shop.NHL.com gift card though, so we’re having a new, easier contest!
The contest opens today and all you’ve got to do to be entered is leave a comment on any blog post. Every comment you leave will gain you an entry into the hat with no limit on the number of times you comment before the contest ends. However the comments must be worthwhile and not just single words or obvious filler to simply gain an entry.

Do comments asking about your comment policy in regards to prize eligibility count towards the contest?

What about a question asking about retroactive comments counting? Does that comment count? Because I think that it should count.
