About Us
LeafsAreTrash.com was started by a Leafs fan, much like countless other Leaf fans, who simply said “no more”. For decades people have been paying good money to go and watch a team that, with the exception of a few breif streaks, has consistantly been a bunch of under achievers and losers, from the CEO all the way down to the 4th line bangers.
Not only is the team consistantly made up of a bunch of chronic losers, but now the average fan, still blind to the truth, can’t even afford to go to the game. How can you ask someone to take out an extra mortgage to come see your games when you can’t even put a decent team on the ice!
So what to do? We said “Screw this”. Why support a team that can’t get its head out of its own butt? Instead, we cheer for 29 other teams. We throw high fives when the Leafs get scored on and we boo when the Leafs light the lamp. Why? Because we’re Leafs fans with a long-term perspective. We support everything that makes the Leafs such a historically great team, not the trash they’ve been sending out on the ice every night. Thus, LeafsAreTrash.com was born. We hope one day it will be a haven to all the ex-Leafs fans, young and old, who at one time or another said, “Screw this!”.
